James Hendry is currently in his fourth year at the Royal Northern College of Music studying the piano with Helen Krizos. Before joining the RNCM he was a founding member of Yorkshire Young Musicians, a programme offering expert training to advanced young musicians, which is in partnership with Opera North and Leeds College of Music, and is funded by the DFES Music and Dance scheme. Whilst at Yorkshire Young Musicians, James studied the piano and percussion at Leeds College of Music and continued to study voice in his hometown of Kingston upon Hull. He has performed in many prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, The Bridgewater Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
Amy Yule is currently in her second year of study at the RNCM where she learns with Laura Jellicoe. As a soloist Amy has won several awards including the Norman Trotman Competition, the RNCM Ken Griffin Flute Prize and sponsorship from the EMI Music Sound Foundation and the Craxton Memorial Trust. She was also selected to play a concerto with the RNCM Chamber Orchestra, which was performed in January at Manchester Cathedral.
