Emma Kirkby is
recognised as one of Britain’s leading musicians of the past twenty years. In
recent seasons she has formed a duo with pianist James Lisney and presents
programmes that mix song and piano music. They have recorded together on BIS,
broadcast on Lyric FM in Ireland and appeared at prestigious music festivals
throughout Europe and the Americas. Their programme includes songs by Haydn,
Mozart and Schubert and a Beethoven Piano Sonata and a Schubert Impromptu.
